Location

WAFL15 is organized by the Department of Theoretical and Applied LinguisticsFaculty of PhilologyLomonosov Moscow State University (MGU). The Faculty of Philology is located at 8th, 9th and 10th floors of the MGU 1st Humanities building on Akademika Khokhlova St. (улица Академика Хохлова).

Registration and talks will be held in Lecture Room 11 in the left wing of the building on the first floor.

Both poster sessions on Thursday and Friday will be organized in Room 826 on the eighth floor.

Drinks and snacks during coffee breaks will be served in Room 826 on the eighth floor on Thursday and Fridays and in Room 953 on the ningth floor on Saturday.

Welcoming reception on Thursday will take place in Room 826. 

Transportation

The easiest way of getting there is by the metro (Moscow Metropolitain, or Metro). Take a train to the Universitet (Университет) station (Red Line). The conference site is within a 8-10 minute walk from there; see this map. For more options, you may use Google or Yandex root planners. 

Access to the building

For security reasons, access to all MGU buildings is restricted. On the first day of the conference, the organizers will be meeting you downstairs at the security posts. Once registered, you can enter the building using your conference badge. 

Eating

Inside the building, lunches are available in the canteen on the 2nd floor. Two small cafeterias are located in the middle of the 5th and 8th floors. A bit fancier cafe is located on the 10th floor. Snacks and drinks are served at the booths on the 1st floor.

There are a number of lunch and dinner opportunities in the area (mostly around the Universitet metro station), but you have to allow at least 20-25 mins for getting there from the conference place and back. The closest locations are Buffalo's ($, fast food, web-site), Uruk ($$-$$$, Cental Asian and the like, web-site), Shokoladnitsa ($$, a chain coffee place; web-site), Farinari ($-$$, an Italian ice-cream and dessert place; web-site), Tapas Marbella ($$$, Spanish with Moscovite influence; web-site), Marukame ($, Japanese; web-site).
